With the encouragement of my family, I started oil painting in April 2010 and fell in love with the medium when I took a community class. Late in 2015, I found watercolor paints and they became another favorite paint..

Currently, I am working on figuring out which color ground I like under my oil paintings. I am documenting my journey on my Substack.

The Night Sky

I drew this sketch before my eighteenth birthday and the feathery lines and harsh combination of human body and animal head sparked a science fiction story. It became a story about super soldiers fighting for freedom after the United States government created them.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my family, which includes two dogs.
